A Democratic Florida gubernatorial candidate who pledged to legalize marijuana if elected owns a sizable stake in a pot dispensary company, according to a financial disclosure.
Nikki Fried, who was a medical marijuana lobbyist before becoming Florida’s agriculture commissioner in 2018, has a $130,000 stake in Harvest Health and Recreation Inc. through a company called Ignite Holdings, her 2021 disclosure to the Florida Commission on Ethics shows.

Recreational marijuana will be legalized via ballot in Florida, just as it was here in NJ.

Marijuana is not healthy and can be abused, although most users do so in moderation. If weed irritates you, it will be on the ballot in the sunshine state soon so you will have your chance to vote your opinion.

She’s desperate. Her polling must show her losing to Crist.
She isn’t hard on the eyes and she has a huge rack. But as soon as she opens her mouth, it goes downhill pretty quickly. FWIW, I actually agree with her on the issue. The medical part was the Trojan horse. Recreational is coming eventually. Enough with the theatrics.
