In what wild a$$ century do you think Ukraine would imagine gaining transit fees from Russian gas in their pipelines. The only way that would happen is if Russia completely subjugated Ukraine, and then used Ukraine soil to send gas or oil in pipelines from the territory they seized around Crimea and in Donbass. It is highly improbable that Ukraine would allow that to happen if they still retained any independence in the areas not already seized by Russia. So long as Ukraine retains a reasonable level of independence, I cannot imagine Russia rewarding them with huge fees from Russian oil and gas
On the other hand, if Ukraine receives oil and gas from other countries via the Black Sea, that would be a different situation. Does Ukraine have the capacity to be serviced by oil tankers or LNG in Odessa, or territories they might regain?
