Are you saying that the Country is too Amish to vote for someone who owns a strip joint?
She’s a stripper.
Of what? The local nuthouse?
Early in the illegal lockdown, we attended a freedom rally where Dan Cox was listed as a speaker. Larry Hogan informed Cox in writing that if he left his house to attend, he would be arrested.
Dan Cox stayed home and did paperwork. That paperwork was a Federal Lawsuit which was presented to Hogan during the rally.
That solitary act earned my vote.
I went through the ballot a few weeks ago and asked every candidate what he actually did during the lockdown to protect our constitutional rights. Non-incumbents all responded and with good answers. Not one incumbent at any level responded. Not one incumbent earned my vote.
Klacik is now the afternoon host on WBAL radio.
I think that’s similar to what they call the ‘Streisand effect’ - but it’s definitely the ‘law of unintended consequences’ :-)
Schultz is Hogan’s candidate.
And the nine of them are bending over backwards to out-wacko each other. Peter Franchot and Doug Gansler are trying to sound "moderate" (like Biden?) but even they don't dare stray too far from the progressive orthodoxy.
After the Dhimmicraps have decided which wacko they're going to nominate, the Republicans will have to tie every crazy radical goofball cause around the nominee's neck and not let go. (But they won't.)
I just got redistricted from the 3rd (which had the honor of being the most gerrymandered district in America) into the 5th.
Hogan has done a few good things and he’s definitely better than either of the DemoKKKrats who ran against him, but he’s way too RINO for my tastes.
And was one of the strippers.
No wonder we haven’t heard from her.
That's why I have a Cox sign in the yard. Cox is underfunded, but what he says is his platform closely aligns with our conservative values right down the line. Schultz is a definite RINO which we don't need.
Hogan turned into a squish. He could have been a contender!
I agree with you. He COULD have been.
But he grew up in a very political family, apparently learned all the wrong lessons, and became a politician instead of a statesman.
Well, at least now you look more like ‘adjoining territory... compact in form’, instead of a squashed bug.
Take Laurel, for example. What is called Laurel encompasses portions of three counties — Prince George’s, Anne Arundel, and Howard.
The Anne Arundel part (known as Maryland City) was in the 3rd (before the redistricting) with Towson, part of Baltimore City, and other unrelated areas — but neither the Howard County part of “Laurel” nor the PG part. And they were in separate districts — the PG portion in 4, the Howard portion in 7, the Arundel portion in 3.
I was in the 3rd; now I’m in the 5th. Whoopie! I got to exchange Boy Sarbanes for Spendy Horror, an empty suit if there ever was one.
There’s always Western Maryland. (I used to think the Shore, too; but it’s being taken over as we speak...)
The Eastern Shore is the only district that has a Republican Member of Congress.
