A Bay Area lawmaker is warning that San Francisco is "veering toward a public health mess" over monkeypox, citing a Wednesday announcement from the San Francisco Department of Public Health that said the agency is running low on monkeypox vaccines and will shutter its clinic at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital until more supply arrives.

Lots of problems in San Francisco, and some gay men are concerned about getting a needless vax so they can ride bareback? Pardon the crudity, but do I have that about right?

Monkey Pox and Aids.

Neither bothers me in the slightest.

Because I don’t stick me pecker in hairy men’s bums.

From the article: A lawmaker says...

The Wuhanic Plague exposed that lawmakers have zero credibility when it comes to health conditions. Zero.

In the 80s when AIDS was becoming a big deal, I used to sell insurance. Health insurance. I met a man who was so handsome it was unbelievable. But he told me he knew that he needed this health insurance because he was going to get AIDS. He told me that he spent his weekends crawling around on his hands and knees in these bathhouses in San Francisco. I had no clue what he was talking about. But I pretty much figured out he must be gay.

San Francisco is a pox on the nation

I grew up reading Herb Caen. Your comment, while apt in many ways, is so sad to read.

Turns out monkeypox travels down a certain kind of highway that most folks prefer not to drive.

AIDS wasn’t enough. Buttmonkey pox wont be enough. It could rain frogs for 40 days and 40 nights, followed by a year long swarm of locusts, and all that would do was cause these people to have sex with frogs and locusts
= = =

Yep.

And they won’t consider God in the equation.

In Revelation 16, pouring out of the bowls - in these cases, the people DID know God caused their plagues, but blasphemed Him anyway, and did not repent.

Fourth Bowl: Men Are Scorched
9And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory.

Fifth Bowl: Darkness and Pain
10Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues because of the pain. 11They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and did not repent of their deeds.

Seventh Bowl: The Earth Utterly Shaken
21And great hail from heaven fell upon men, each hailstone about the weight of a talent. Men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, since that plague was exceedingly great.

Feces and needles in the streets and sidewalks isn’t a public health crisis?

Did you sell him a policy?

I wonder if his health insurance company realized a profit on his policy.

You have to take an application and send it to the underwriter. They make the ultimate decision. These were city and county of San Francisco employees.
But after this I noticed that a lot of the gay guys who had aids would come around wanting disability insurance and when you would ask them if they’ve ever been diagnosed with AIDS or arc, which soon became a part of the application, they would say I was discriminating against them. I would tell them no it’s just like a fire. You can’t get fire insurance after your house is burned down can you? They wanted the lawsuit.
I did have one guy who I sold some life insurance to come back and tell me that he sold it (viatical) because people were buying gay man’s life insurance policies from them and he made some money on it so he wanted another one.
