One cannot help but feel that the roller coaster is about to hit the brick wall of reality.

They have broken our nation and look no further than DC and the surrounding counties which comprise half of the wealthiest counties in the country.

Social security, medicaid, and medicare are ticking time bombs with no reform possible under our current political structure and that was true before we brought in 20 million immigrants who will NEVER pay in what they consume.

AI and robotics will likely replace a sizeable chunk of low-skilled labor in our economy decreasing the tax base and raising the cost of unemployment.

I could keep writing, but what is the point? Before anyone suggests that the GOP taking congress will reverse these trends please point to evidence where McConnell and McCarthy are going to change their ways. Sure, I hope that they slow the chaos coming from the left, but we are in need of a national overhaul and we will NOT get it from the GOPe who like spending money just as much as the left.

You pretend to assume you know how things will turn out. If the last three years proved anything nothing is predictable.

“AI and robotics will likely replace a sizeable chunk of low-skilled labor in our economy decreasing the tax base and raising the cost of unemployment.”

IMO robots and AI are overrated at this current period in history.

The low skilled work is where we need a labor force, because many of those jobs are necessary for the continuation and maintenance of civilization “as we know it.”

If robots & AI aren’t “knocking out” the bloated public & private sector “office fat” that has accumulated over the last 4 decades. Then they serve no purpose.

The overpaid fat in this economy needs to produce or find a different occupation to add value. The current globalist construct is unsustainable.
