Amazon is developing cancer vaccines in conjunction with the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, based in Seattle.
The trial would look at the development of personalized vaccines to tackle breast cancer and melanoma skin cancer.
The vaccine could offer a more focused and precise cancer treatment at a lower cost
News of the partnership was first revealed in October on Clinicaltrials.gov which hold an online database of clinical studies being run by the US National Library of Medicine.
The cancer vaccine project came out of Amazon's secretive moonshot lab called Grand Challenge. Those involved on Amazon's cancer research team are said to be a small group of medical doctors together with engineers from health tech.
20 patients are set to take part in the first phase of the trial to test a 'US FDA-regulated Drug Product.'
While Fred Hutchinson is listed as the sponsor of the trial, Amazon is referred to as the 'collaborator' of the study.
Both Fred Hutchinson and Amazon have confirmed that they are working on the trial together with the company partnering with other healthcare companies
'Amazon is contributing scientific and machine learning expertise to a partnership with Fred Hutch to explore the development of a personalized treatment for certain forms of cancer.
It's very early, but Fred Hutch recently received permission from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to proceed with a Phase I clinical trial, and it's unclear whether it will be successful,' Amazon's spokesperson said
'This will be a long, multi-year process—should it progress, we would be open to working with other organizations in health care and life sciences that might also be interested in similar efforts.'
It's the first time that Amazon has worked on its own drug although the company has recently shown a greater interest in healthcare.

Yeah, but I think you can only get the vaccine if you sign up for Amazon Prime.
“FDA-approved clinical trial”
Somehow that doesn’t inspire confidence in me.
If it really works and is superior to everything else available then good on Amazon.
Dad had some skin cancers. He got checked annually and had them removed.
It’s not what did him in.
But I would be interested in a vax once it’s thoroughly tested.
Don’t think I need a breast cancer vax.
since when is there a cure for skin or breast cancer?
if there’s no cure, how can there be a ‘vaccine’ ?
unless it’s one of the new ‘vaccines’ that provide ‘some protection’ instead of immunization
at which point, our ‘medical care’ is just a sham
Hope it works.
Not exactly holding my breath.
“a more focused and precise cancer treatment”
If it is a treatment, it is not a vaccine.
Stephen J Cannell died from skin cancer. He was a tanning freak.
The FDA and CDC would approve of rat poison and bleach as “vaccines” these days if it meant killing more Christians off.
Read John 8:44 if you want to know WHY.
He’s rapidly becoming the right hand man for the antichrist isn’t he?! Someday he’ll be owning the whole damn earth ...hospitals, banks food stores, farming land etc. oh wait he already owns those. Yep! He will become the CEO for the antichrist in the latter days. In the word of God says what does it profit a man to own the whole world and lose his soul. Death is only the beginning of life. We either choose damnation in hell, or in the presence of a righteous Holy God. I personally choose the latter. I’d rather be poor on this earth and have a wealth of life in eternity.
Dad was just in the sun from fishing, and working in the yard and garden.
