Kinney County Judge Tully Shahan was among the officials in Texas border counties sounding the alarm about record-high illegal immigration, saying last week: “The Biden administration won’t do a thing about it. We’re in over our head. We need help.”

This reflects the number caught in five months. That comes out to roughly 1 3/4 million a year. These are the ones we know about. How much does the government spend on each illegal to house, feed, transport, etc.? It would be nice if someone in Congress asked the question.
