Is that why Crimea, Luhansk, and Donetsk seceded from Ukraine? Because they hate Russia? They must have invited Russian forces to help against Kiev for the same reason…correct?

Little green men from Russia.

By April 2014, Russian citizens had taken control of the separatist movement, and were supported by volunteers and materiel from Russia, including Chechen and Cossack fighters. According to DPR commander Igor Girkin, without this support in April, the movement would have fizzled out, as it had in Kharkiv and Odessa

“Is that why Crimea, Luhansk, and Donetsk seceded from Ukraine?”

America had a small dust up over the question of secession a while back. Do you remember how that ended?

The fake “separatist” movement was started by Russian money, Russian agents, Russian Mafia style tactics that included threats and bribes, the murder of Ukrainians, and finally, Russian troops. The people I know in the Donbas do indeed hate Russia and the invaders. The forced conscription of “volunteers” has greatly enlarged cemeteries in cities like
Alchevsk. The local engineers, city municipal workers, bureaucrats, and hospital administrators, are forced to join the party United Russia. Russia United does not sound very “separatist” does it? It sounds more like a Russian land grab and a natural resource grab.

Luhansk, and Donetsk

At first the people cheered, but when the Orcs began forcibly conscripting men off he streets, including the handicapped, and those same men were ill-equipped to fight any war, and those same men were sent by their Russian officers to a sure death in suicidal attacks on fortified positions, and when those now dead men where left to rot where they fell, the people turned against the Orcs.
