WASHINGTON (7News) — Investigators are seeking information on a fire that broke out at Saint Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church in Bethesda, Md. early Sunday morning, according to Pete Piringer, spokesperson for the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service.
The fire broke out around 2 a.m. and involved several pews in the main church area, Piringer tweeted. The church is located at 9601 Old Georgetown Road.
Sunday's masses are being held in the Christopher Hall Gymnasium, according to the parish website.

Wow. I’ve been to mass here before. It’s a very nice, large, newer built church.
I may be mistaken, but I think I read some months ago that that is the church of one of the Justices.

Only a matter of time. I have a friend, retired law enforcement, who trains ushers how to safely carry and USE firearms.
Just thinking about attacking a synagogue got a guy 20 years in prison, actually attacking a church will get far less if anything at all. How much time will the FBI devote to this and similar cases as compared to the amount of time they spent investigating garage door pull ropes at Taladaga?
I tend to think those neighborhoods are largely liberal - don't go there often, but driving thru last year, there were lot's of "THANK YOU DR. FAUCI" signs in front of homes.

The Catholic schools need to start working the persecutions back into their lesson plans.
John 15:18 should be preached from every pulpit in America. The Catholics should lead the way, as it seems to be mostly Catholic churches being attacked. Or has Francis forbidden this?
The original church was quite large. I went there in the ‘50s.
By my count, that is 42 church arsons this year. (Not counting church schools, or crisis pregnancy centers.)
For attacks, it is Catholic churches. I've tracked church arsons for two years now. Surprisingly, the most arsons are at Methodist Churches.
They torched a Methodist church as well. Must have been a case of mistaken identity.

Hmmmm...just throwing this out there....the uk 🇬🇧 and France 🇫🇷 suffered quite a lot of church 🔥 after the invasion of thousands of illegal Middle Easterners...Notre Dame comes to mind. Just saying!
