The uncle of confessed Highland Park mass shooter Robert Crimo III insisted Friday that his brother “did the right thing” when he helped his son buy guns — while conceding that he would not have done so himself.
“I support him 100% — I think he did the right thing,” Paul Crimo told CNN of his brother, the gunman’s dad, Robert Crimo Jr.
The uncle admitted that he was “sure” that his brother “knew about” his son having been investigated for threatening to “kill everyone” in 2019, just two months before he backed the shooter’s successful bid to start buying guns while he was still just 19.

SO DID THE UNCLE
SO DID THE MOTHER
“If you see something-—say something” didn’t work in that clan.
Stupidity apparently runs in the family on both sides.
“If my son even looked like this creep, I would never have bought him a gun.”
I know, right? He’s so CHEERFUL. I’m just wondering how he could have not raised an eyebrow at the gun shop. I mean, you take one look at this guy and an alarm should go off. Gun sellers have the right to refuse sales if they feel hinky, don’t they? I actually know nothing about it, as you all probably can tell...
How about looking for law infractions and pursuing justice accordingly?
The whole family is a wack job.
The father was a republican even ran for mayor thankfully losing 2 to 1. He’d be an awful representative for the party.
Lenin’s brother was hanged for his part in a conspiracy to assassinate Emperor Alexander III. Killing V. I. Lenin might have paid historic dividends.
The Chicago Way.
He was killed today.
..
Bingo.
What other rights do the politicians in Illinois claim one needs to have someone vouch for them?
Do Illinois residents need someone to vouch for them in order to exercise their First Amendment right?
How about the 4th Amendment? Can the police search and seize items from you if no one vouches for you?
How about the 5th Amendment? You need someone vouch for you to avoid self-incrimination and double jeopardy.
How about the 6th Amendment? You need someone to vouch for you in order to confront your accuser, and retain counsel.
How about the 8th Amendment? You need someone to vouch for you in order to avoid excessive fines and bail, as well as cruel and unusual punishment.
How about the 13th Amendment? Do the politicians in Illinois require people to have others vouch for them in order to be free from slavery?
How about the 15th Amendment? You need someone to vouch for you or you can be denied the right to vote based on race.
The little twink fruitcake should’ve been stuck in an institution.
= = =
There are no institutions.
Politicians request taxes for ‘mental health care’, but where does that go? They won’t solve that problem because they won’t be able to ask for ‘mental health care’ money any more.
Most county jails are now performing as mental health lock-ups. But the emphasis is on lock-up, not mental health.
The combined IQ of this family is likely under 100.
= = =
Yes, that is 1 + 0 + 0, for the three of them.
There are no more institutions anymore
This is one incredibly stupid family, from the whack job mother to the slow witted father and now, this jerk uncle. Put them all in the cell with the evil piece of trash they raised
Cain slew Abel. Was he a psycho? Perhaps.
A good start is to recognize that there are probably a million or more people in our nation today who are just as dysfunctional as this killer. Unless your solution affects all of them, there is little hope that it will eliminate this problem.
The conservative approach would be to make substantial changes to education, discipline, and accountability to dramatically reduce this dysfunctional population.
I suspect dad, Robert Crimo, thought his son’s use of guns at the gun range would help him become more manly instead of the epicene runt he was.
Technically true but standards change. What was 80 yesterday is 100 today.
I am genuinely surprised that psycho even knew his father.
We messed up when stopped housing the severely mentally ill. Now they are in power
“ Why do people open their mouths?”
——————————————————————————————-
Yep. First thing I thought before I scrolled down and saw your comment.
The parents might be in civil jeopardy and find themselves in court soon.
Yet no one over there can manage to keep their big mouth shut.
They’ll learn.
