Bismarck judge orders Mexican cartel to pay billions for killings

A federal judge says a Mexican drug cartel accused in the gruesome killings of nine women and children from an offshoot Mormon community must pay $1.5 billion to the families. The family members of the victims filed a lawsuit accusing the Juarez cartel of carrying out the November 2019 attack in Mexico. . . . .
The award determined by U.S. Magistrate Judge Clare Hochhalter in Bismarck will be automatically tripled under the federal Anti-Terrorism Act, increasing the amount to $4.6 billion.

This will force the Cartels to raise the price of fentanyl and meth. Now the junkies will blame Joe for inflation of the price of drugs, like the rest of due for food, energy, and fuel prices

Anyone watch the netflix show El Chapo? The show implies that US officials only cared about stopping cartel on cartel violence and could care less if drugs entered the USA. Doesn’t make sense to me. Why should the US care about violence in Mexico?
