He had cinched cuffs around hundreds of wrists as a Washington, D.C., police officer, but now Brett Parson's own hands were being placed behind his back.

...The police in Boca Raton, Fla., guided him toward their cruiser as their body cameras recorded the encounter....

When I began selling college textbooks in the early seventies the Abnormal Behavior text listed homosexuality as abberant behavior. The next edition had changed the emanign to be an alternate lifestyle, then the next edition did not list homosexuality at all as abnormal behavior.

God says such behavior is an abomination.

“So he might get a lap on the wrist, or maybe nothing at all.”

I don’t even want to know what that entails.

---->God (God's law) says such behavior is an abomination.

Hopefully he's OSAS so only his flesh sins and not his Spirit. Best of both worlds for him in that case...continue in the homosexual lifestyle and still go to heaven.

For everyone else on this earth, UNREPENTANT, willful sin (transgressing God’s law) guarantees loss of salvation. But, not for OSAS/OJAJ. It’s the flesh part that sins, not the Spirit. So, it’s ok. Obedience to God is not mandatory for salvation. Any kind of unrepentant perversion post Grace (OSAS/OJAJ) is fine.

I’m always highly suspicious of the talk of “community policing.“ This may rankle some sensibilities in liberal circles, and maybe even here on FR, but that is just code for the criminals being in charge. It doesn’t come about without some grievance group protesting and playing the race/minority card to extort massive concessions from law enforcement administration. It is almost always accompanied by the installation of “citizen review boards,” staffed with some of the biggest leftist grievance mongers in the community, who are in a default hostile position to police officers doing their job. The police cannot win, because the criminals have become their bosses.

It’s not popular to say this in this perverted, PC day, but police should NOT always be your friend, at least not as their function is concerned. The police represent the sword of a God-ordained (ideally) government to come swiftly against evildoers. Those outside the law SHOULD fear them. That includes people who want to run stop signs and speed 20 over the limit. People should have no obligation to grovel before these offenders. Yes, remain professional, stoic, and objective, but they are not there to make the offender feel good. The classic image of a dour, intimidating officer at your car window demanding your license and insurance is the correct one.

The city's 2019 guide to Pride called Parson a "living legend." The Department of Justice, the State Department, Amnesty International, the Southern Poverty Law Center and other police departments relied on his expertise.
