Two points: The legislators who voted for “trigger laws” did so with confidence that Roe would never be overturned. And the enforcement bureaucracy in those states will engage in massive resistance to enforcing those laws.
I predict that, within six months, almost all of them will have been repealed and replaced with “first trimester only unless the woman is sad” laws, which is where the great majority of voters actually are.
