I wonder if there is really a time capsule buried below. You would think they would dig it up now.
The folks who built it might all be dead now. Assuming it’s owned by an organization (Rosicrucians?), there’s not much sense in rebuilding, as it will probably be attacked again.

"emember when the Taliban blew up those Buddhist statues? People with small religious views can become very fearful of those with other beliefs. Not a new phenomenon at all, really." please explain why do we have to support the "religious beliefs" of a philosophy that wants to eliminate 6.5 billion people?

The gutless GBI will send 100 agents to pursue this but not for election theft. I have no respect for the GBI after they pulled that bullsh*t with the McMichaels having shot that piece of sh*t bastard that attacked him.
Pretty sure their stupid @$$es will never figure out who did it, and of course whoever did it, did the world a service in destroying the thing.

A guy using the last name Christian (probably a fake name) bought land and paid for the monument. At some point, he signed the site over to Elbert County.
Possibly influential people in the county didn’t like it there at all.

Why should it have not been permitted. Private land. Private money. Out in the middle of nowhere

Close. Google maps says 783 miles.
666 is somewhere between WDC and Philadelphia.

“Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.
Spread worldwide, that would make for a very light industrial base. I don’t think it would support something like the space program, for example. But then, that’s probably what some people want, a return to the iron age. (If not an earlier time).
