Actions that increase the price and decrease the availability/production of energy and food are contrary to US interests.

We are selling off an asset to China - Tim Stewert, US Gas and Oil Assn -
1. Do we have the refining capacity after the 10% of refineries we lost since Biden took office?
2. Selling it overseas will affect the price here if enough is sold. Just like how blocking exploration and drilling here raised the price for the rest of the world.
Neither of these things make his actions competent, but they are part of the discussion.
High gas prices are the goal. He just wants to redirect the blame.
