Police provided the public with details on Tuesday at a press conference, where they said that the rifle that was used was legally purchased.
Robert Crimo III, 21, allegedly opened fire from a rooftop during the Fourth of July parade in Highland Park, Illinois, and evaded arrest for hours. Police said that Primo wore women's clothing in an attempt to conceal himself, specifically to help cover up his face tattoos. He may have worn a wig during the shooting.

Releasing a sample after being caught doesn’t square with being identified by DNA from the weapon the day before.
Nor does a familial match from one of the ancestry outfits, because that doesn’t happen in a day, much less a matter of hours, not even for the police.
If it’s true he was identified by DNA and not the gun registration, since he left it there (which honestly, sounds more likely), then his DNA was on the law enforcement database in connection to a criminal investigation, either as a suspect or a victim.
I’ve watched many interrogation videos and almost all the younger ones, male and female, that end up going insane are potheads. I know it’s not a 1-1 thing, or even close. But the causality is there and it’s fairly strong.

Well, he did leave the legally purchased rifle with its serial number at the scene. I’ve also read that he was identified by DNA from the rifle (which would explain the “known to police” bit if his DNA is on file).
If they can do DNA fast, they can do blood drug analyses fast.
Totally true-relatives almost always say there were no signs, nothing was wrong or weird, etc-denial is not just a river in Egypt...
If he was a Conservative, and an actual Trump supporter, contaminating the jury pool wouldn't matter to them.
