I really thought Romney was going to win but I think we dodged a bullet. If he had won we might have ended up with Paul Ryan as a later POTUS

I’m in Wisconsin, at the time, Ryan was still pretending to be a conservative. You should have heard him around here for years, conservative through and through. He’d be on all the local radio talk shows, town halls, etc. He had it down pat, everyone believed him. Then the big betrayal. It all started with Romney.

I would not call Obama’s second term the dodging of a bullet. As bad as Romney would have been, something tells me he would never have gone as far as Obama did in attacking the country’s foundations.
