The 30-second spot scheduled to air on Fox News starting Monday takes shots at Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and his policies, while drawing a contrast with California.

Really? On July 4th? Bet that will be widely seen...not.

I believe if the dems/socialists/commies run Newsom in 2024, he has a good chance against DeSantis or Trump. WHY? Think "cult of personality". Remember Bill Clinton's success from a nobody Governor? Newsom has the looks, the smile, the personality, the gift of gab, and is young.

Newsom is why I prefer President Trump to step aside for Governor DeSantis. Trump can be very effective as a cabinet secretary or AG or Speaker of the House or just in the background keeping DeSantis focused. Just as long as Trump doesn't try to push his favorite nominees on DeSantis, unless Trump has learned his lesson in hiring DC swampers.
