8 years, 6 months, and 18 days until the Earth ends, according to noted climate expert Alexandria Ocasio Cortez.

Doesn’t that crazy Swede say the same thing?

So China even has Europe’s total market now!? Amazing!

The only good part about any of that is that the CO2 being produced doesn’t do diddly squat to the environment except make plants healthier.

I see you’re joking there in the last part. Some of Biden’s people actually seem dumber than he is. Not a joke!

Unfortunately, far too many of the bureaucrats and legislators also lack basic comprehension and logic skills.

“This SCOTUS decision might be the first blow against the ever expanding power grab by unaccountable bureaucrats.”

I hope so. I want to get rid of the High Efficiency washing machines. They don’t allow enough water to wash our clothes well.

Yes, the high cost of energy drove all European producers out of business a while ago.

This article is quite instrumental:
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0301421516301379

It scientifically proves that solar cells are net energy sinks in the study area - Germany and Switzerland.
In the US the situation is little bit better, but similar, the solar cells are not delivering too much net energy.
Basically, to make, install and maintain solar cell you may need more energy (presumably from coal, oil or natural gas) then that cell will deliver over its lifetime.
And then, you are stuck with destroyed land (which could grow food or trees, or provide recreation and animal refuge) and bunch of hazardous waste.
After solar cells are removed you are dealing with heavily poisoned land, useless for anything!

It’s small quality of life things like washing machines that drive home just how intrusive these federal agency control freaks have become.

They have made our lives more expensive, more inconvenient, and more unsatisfactory in hundreds of ways. Only Boomers will remember it wasn’t always like this.

This ought to reel in the DOT setting ridiculous and unreachable mileage standards for auto manufacturers, too.
Not to mention the constitution doesn’t grant the federals the power to control manufacturing any more than it allowed them to enact ‘gun control’ ‘law’. Severe over-stepping of the bright clear boundaries the constitution imposes on the federal gov.

I wonder if this applies to toilets..

Remember when al bore limited the amount of water per fush?

Now it takes either a courtesy flush half way through, 2 flushes or a lot of plungering.

Maybe I’m just full of it?

The Right doesn’t play to win.

It never fights to maximize personal liberty.

It never fights to reverse the damage the Democrats inflict on this country.

It never fights to reduce the size of government.

It can’t even manage to defund NPR for cryin out loud.

I keep thinking maybe at some point the Right will push back hard against the Left. It never happens so I’m not celebrating anything until I see the Right open up a can of whoop ass on the Dems. Then we can start to be optimistic.
