If NATO encroaching on Soviet boundaries was the justification for Russia invading the Ukraine, even though five NATO countries already bordered Russia, wouldn’t Finland’s admission to NATO also give Russia justification for invading and taking over Finland, too? Asking for a friend.
I am not praising Putin in any way. I merely point out that the Left liked the USSR a lot when it was obviously an atheist country. Leaving Putin completely out of the equation, it is quite obvious that Russia is today a more Christian country than it was 40 years ago. The Left hates that.
I’d like the US to stay well out of this whole thing. Both Ukraine and Russia are bad and neither deserves our support. But many here are blind to the Globalist game plan and they willingly participate in the daily two-minute hate of Putin.
I was wondering about that. I keep thinking maybe Russia is a little bit in the right, but everyone says no that Ukraine is totally in the right. It is very confusing.

Yet the fact remains that there are right now US forces just 160km from St. Petersburg and shortly there will be a joint base in Poland.
Putin wanted NATO to back off and instead we’re bulking up our defenses while he’s scrambling to call up 70-year-old veterans for his failing adventure in Ukraine.
Russia is weak and the whole world knows it now.
Russia has nothing left to use for an invasion of Finland. No troops, no functional tanks, no spare parts, no supplies.
All the oligarchs grifting off the defense budget sure paid off...for NATO and China.
