Where are their IC chips going to come from?
The idea that you, or anyone, can see two decades out is comical.
Russian stuff works 4 months into a slug fest.
NATO stuff? Probably not.
Give Ukrainians the old stuff. Watch it get blown up. Watch Ukrainians die for NATO proxy war. Spend $tens of billions to the MIC to buy new stuff. 10% for the big guy.
Everybody wins!
I’m thinking the OP has a RoI with respect to said MIC…
Russia’s biggest unintended consequence is now the certain entrance of Sweden and Finland into NATO, particularly Finland. They did not want NATO on their borders and now they have an extended border with NATO. Putin’s massive blunder.
Hey, they can predict the weather two hundred years in advance! They do it all the time!..............................
And making Russia much richer from far higher priced oil, natural gas, fertilizer etc sales.
The Russians have been fighting long drawn out wars for centuries. I’d back them over Dementia Joe any day.
I stand corrected…
If China won’t sell them, we can just buy from Taiwan, South Korea, Malaysia...
At this time, our biggest enemy is us. And yes, we are slowly being picked off like fish in a barrel.
No one but Taiwan has such top tier fabrication. (Speeds)
Do you think China will not react to NATO expansion as well?
China knows they would be next after Russia.
Yep, and you can be sure that some other former Soviet states like Georgia and Moldova are going to look to get on the fast track to NATO membership too. Putin telegraphed that he views any non-NATO member on his border as fair game to invade, so there is no downside for them anymore.
But they can’t tell me if it’s gonna rain TODAY!....................
Look, a squirrel!…
There’s squirrels (TREE RATS!) all over my yard!....................
