Today at SCOTUS: Opinions at 10 a.m. EDT. Four cases remain, covering the following topics: Native American sovereignty, state sovereign immunity, the "remain in Mexico" policy, and EPA's power to combat climate change. Our live blog gets underway at 9:30.

The way conservatism has been pummeled most of my lifetime, I’d say we can go on a long winning streak now!
Seems we have 5 decent jurists, and 1 compromised Chief Justice, who may just throw the other 5 a bone, from time to time??
The EPA decision will be the big one. If it goes our way, CONGRESS will be required to VOTE on destroying our energy industry.

The Supreme Court rules that states CAN prosecute crimes against Native American victims committed on Native American reservations if the defendant is non-Native. The decision limits the scope of the 2020 ruling in McGirt v. Oklahoma (which involved a Native American defendant).

I’m just hoping the EPA - indeed the entire administrative state - gets its wings clipped.

They usually save the big cases for the last day. Is this an indication that one or both of these cases will be very significant?

Some of the expected decisions were announced as final this morning, but with the additional statement they will not be out to the public until 10am tomorrow. The “stay in Mexico” ruling is one of those - tomorrow 10am.
