Ask anyone old enough, many young and married women were asked flat out if they planned to become pregnant anytime soon in job interviews, because employers didn’t want to invest the money training them for them to have kids and quit.
This was pretty common practice before such questions were outlawed.
What's controversial about that statement? You want to work at the type of job where a half year absence (give or take) that wasn't coordinated in advance isn't inconvenient to the employer? Unless you work somewhere so big that you aren't noticed, or in a job so unskilled that pulling a replacement off the street in a short amount of time is easy, that's reality. If anything, it's recognition that women have value in the workplace.

Well its true. Pregnancy costs corporations a lot more money than an abortion does. They want drones who have no personal lives and who will take no time away from work. That’s why all these corporations are offering to help their employees get abortions. It saves them money.

I recall the company I worked for would only hire temps. They would keep them around for several months, and possibly offer them a job depending on how they performed. It never failed that within weeks of a woman being hired she would become pregnant and in line for massive employee benefits.
Trump told the simple truth...it by no means implies that he is and was “pro-choice”. Just stating facts.
Pregnancy also is an inconvenience for the co-workers of the woman because they have to take up the slack during months of maternity leave, doctors appointments, etc. But it is what it is. Not complaining; just stating a fact.
Life was better for all concerned before the feminazis took over and tried to make women believe they had no value unless they had jobs in the workplace. There was an order to it. Things made sense when Moms stayed home and raised their kids.
