No Balls Boris is a good example of the horrible leadership rampant throughout the West. The guy is every bit the evil embarrassment as Joe Biden. Victor Orban is the only decent Western leader that I can think of. Rot in hell Boris!

A Putin's is a nationalist in the same way Hitler was a nationalist. He wants to resurrect the Soviet Empire by intimidation if possible, by force of arms if necessary. Yes, the situation in Ukraine is multi-faceted and complex, however, the blame for the armed invasion of an independent nation is squarely on Vlad.

The real point of my post was that Boris Johnson's statement that the cause of the invasion of Ukraine was because of Putin's toxic masculinity, was both insufficient and irrelevant to resolving the situation.

Trump was the epitome of an American nationalist, and he described himself as such. As far as Putin wishing to reconstruct the Soviet Union, I’ve not seen him say that. It’s a NATO talking point, an attempt to conceal their expansionist ambitions (from 12 nations to it’s current 30, with Sweden & Finland in the queue) Again, if American economic nationalism isn’t for you, what is best?

The battle is Fabian Socialists vs Marxist-Leninists. They never liked each other. Putin and Xi are in the Marxist-Leninist camp. Biden, Johnson et all are Fabian Socialists.

The one thing that really scares the Marxist-Leninist block though is another Trump style populist wave. That could provoke a nuclear attack. Fabian Socialism won’t spread into their block unless forced. Populist ideals could spread naturally.

“The KGB ceased to exist 31 years”

Indoctrination didn’t miraculously disappear 31 years ago. It never does.
