I totally understand. It’s depressing to see things that could be dead soon if they don’t get water. I feel that way passing nearly every lawn in this town. And it’s why I nag my hubby constantly not to let it happen to this yard.
It was a nice rain. Not sure it’s still raining, though. I haven’t looked out in the last 30 minutes or so. I brought the kitties’ food in and will have to put it back out when it’s stopped. They were all very happy to see me...except I haven’t seen Coal yet. Midnight even let me pet him when they weren’t being fed. I consider that a win!
With luck, everything will get a decent drink this weekend. They’ve upped the rain chances since yesterday but I’m trying not to get my hopes up. Just have to wait and see.
Since it was coming down so hard, maybe you got enough rain to make the lawn happy. Won’t have to water it for a bit.
It sounds like Midnight missed you. It isn’t often he wants lovin’ when he isn’t eating.
