Me a moron? Did I take that wrong? Personally, I don’t think it changed anyone’s mind. Everyone has decided if they agree or disagree with the commission. The vast majority of people don’t care or don’t even know the committee exists.
I laughed til I cried when I heard this “story”. The Jon Lovitz comparison is apt.
Proving the lie would entail having the two SS officers testify. But this is a total one-sided kangaroo court, no defenses allowed.
So that testimony is just simply not going to happen
Maybe this a lesson for the people over the levers of power to quit hiring cute little vocal fry airheads and begin to employ mature adults of moral character to work in the top government offices. Most times, a grown up who isn’t looking for attention and is truly interested in serving their country won’t try to stab their superiors in the back.
The aim of this testimony was for someone to be dismissive, or worse disparaging of this sweet, sweet little girl just trying to serve her country.
Then that would have been the story.
