The church, which was placed on the National Register of Historic Places since it was built in 1877 was not regularly used. The Diocese is truly grateful for the response of so many fire departments in the area, but the little church burned quickly and nothing can be saved.
Needless to say, the authorities will not make any arrests.
Just a year ago a guy was arrested and sentenced to 20 years in prison for “planning to bomb a synagogue”. Meanwhile, actual arsonists and bombers of churches are allowed to slip quietly away.
Remember when the leftists were are all riled up over alleged “white supremacists” burning black churches?
I guess that anger doesn’t apply to white liberals burning white churches.
Exactly what the anti-life folks said last week: “Rural areas” will be targets because emergency personnel can’t respond quickly enough.

I would think, with the threat churches & pro-life groups are under, that they’d have arranged for 24/7 security. Even if parishioners have to pull shifts. Such a shame.
