Get rid of the Constitution? OK no 1st Amendment for you so STFU!
What a stupid and extremely ignorant statement.
What was normal then is not normal now. Judging people in the past by today’s standards is the ultimate in stupidity.
This trick is part of the demoncrat's stock in trade and one conservatives are almost guaranteed to fall for:
"Candidate XYZ" has moral flaws and is therefore unfit to govern."Meanwhile the demoncrats wear their moral turpitude like a badge of honor.
By increasing the circulation of this argument you're only helping them spread the slime. Don't be "that guy."
Candice baby, the Constitution had nothing whatever to do with slavery, and even today in almost half of the world’s countries, there is no criminal law penalizing either slavery or the slave trade. In fact, there are currently 94 countries where one cannot be prosecuted or punished in a criminal court for enslaving another human being. So just be appreciative of the fact you live in a country where there is no slavery!
Abortion was promoted and developed by Planned Parenthood with the expressed purpose of reducing the black population.
Why are Liberals so intent in upholding such a RACIST, BIGOTTED and inhumane practice?
Why are white elitist liberals so intent in keeping the black population down?
In America everyone is the same, everyone has the same rights, everyone has the same opportunities. Racists, open up your minds.
And I bet this doofus celebrates Kwanzaa, a holiday invented by a convicted felon.
So was everything in those days. So what? Even as slaveowners those guys were a lot smarter than you are.
The first slaveholder was black. That makes slavery a black problem started by black people. 1621 Anthony Thomas wins the right to hold John Casor past the termination date of his indenturement.
For 15 years only blacks could hold other blacks as slaves. Johnson himself was an indentured servant, but after did well for himself and obtained 250 acres using indentured servants to work his land. To be very clear, Johnson sued Robert Parker, a freedman who had agreed to employ Casor after his indenturement was fulfilled, to ‘take back’ Casor and extend his indenturement INDEFINITELY.
It wasn’t until 1636 that Whites and Indians won the right to hold black people as slaves. Unlimited term indenturement was the legal novelty for which Johnson should be more famous, but is not.
Slavery, brought to black people by black people.
Yeah, yeah and all that 400 years BS. 49/64 of the founding fathers ‘owned’ slaves. Gee.
That shoulda been a lock on getting Representation for Congress based on population, then. But how come they come up with this 3/5ths to count blacks thingy, then?
There was a dynamic going on back that that had little to do with blacks except how they affected agriculture and economics in the South and how the North wanted to maintain control.
Who care who wrote it? It only matters WHAT they wrote. So show me the words in the constitution that are objectionable or in any way unfair or relate to slavery. Tick tock…
What an ignorant view of the constitution.
Part of the success of the Constitution was that it could be amended so that women’s suffrage (sorry to the mouth breathing dumbs of the country who think women should not be able to vote), freedom of slaves via the 13th Amendment, etc.
The Founders were not perfect. Jefferson knew this better than most when he characterized the institution of slavery as holding a wolf by the ears - “We can neither hold him, nor safely let him go”. There were imperfect sections of the US Constitution that could be improved. THAT is the genius of Constitution.
One usually reliable indicator that you are being lied to is when someone prefaced their comment with the word “honestly.”
Literally, their first piece (the snippet shown) is so full of lies, every point made is a blatant lie. Sheesh.
A bizarre rant. I’m so stunned I can hardly respond.
