Probably Ukes did it for the PR. They have done these things several times.

Sounds like one of our resident neocon blood dancers didn't have his coffee this morning, and went off on you.
Watch out for flying spittle...

Remember the video of the trucks rolling through the streets full of ‘bodies’?
All laying comfortably on their backs?
It’s been my lifelong experience that bodies often lay in what looks like remarkably uncomfortable positions, like- for example- a leg up in their armpit or, even worse, in another room...
And then the one closest to the truck moves his arm out of the way before the truck tire runs it over.
That was funny.

Probably Ukes did it for the PR. They have done these things several times. Nah. That's the Kremlin line, already getting their excuses in early. We had one of their mutts on our TV news saying the place was empty, nobody shopping there, who'd be shopping on a Monday anyway in the middle of a war (even though this 'berg is nowhere near the front lines), and finally it was probably the Ukes doing it to themselves...
It's almost as if all the Putin shills have the exact same script to parrot from. We know what they're going to say, before you say it.
Reminds me of the bullshit after MH17 was shot down. Russia denied it was at all possible they did it, before saying they'd look into it, before admitting it happened, before blaming someone else for it, before having the case against it proved, before all its shills kept tripping each other up with contradictory lies.
The Mariupol Hospital incident is another one. Remember that?
Dmitry Peskov (denying):
"Russian forces do not fire on civilian targets." Igor Konashenkov (denying):
"The alleged air strike was completely a staged provocation." Sergei Lavrov (deflecting in Antalya, Turkey):
"This maternity hospital had long been captured by the Azov battalion and other radicals, all women in labor, all nurses, and in general, all the staff were expelled from there." Russian Embassy, UK (deflecting):
"Plus, she [one of the pregnant women] could not be in the maternity house at the time of the strike, as it has long been taken by the neo-Nazi Azov Battalion who told all the staff to clear the place." Vasily Nebenzya to UN Security Council (deflecting):
"The Ukrainian military, according to local residents, had driven out all personnel from Mariupol’s maternity hospital N.1 to convert it to a combat position." Dr. Lyudmila Mykhailenko (one of 3 doctors who worked that day):
"With just one blow, there was simply nothing, no children’s clinic, it was simply blown away." Or, the short version:
Good god no, we would never do anything like that... well, someone did it but it certainly wasn't us... well actually yes it was us but we thought it was a legitimate target because some random anonymous source told us so weeks ago... Bloody locals gave us the wrong intel..."
When you examine the Russian deflections after they've lost the ability to issue a credible denial, it's always a textbook example of a circular blame game: person A told person B who told person C who told person A. At no point can you ever identify a person other than A, B or C, so you can't ever work out who lied first. But it is patently clear when all three are lying because they've been told to lie.
They'll do the same with the mall bombing. It's pretty obvious the mall was not hit by Ukrainian weapons. Watch as Russia firstly accuses the whole thing of being staged until someone provides proof it wasn't, then they'll accuse the building of being attacked by Uke militants despite the militants being nowhere near there, then they'll say actually it was a near-empty hold-out for Uke militants despite it being nowhere near the front lines, and finally they'll admit they fired the rockets but were actually trying to hit a building nearby or some similar form of utter bollocks.
Basically, Putin's Russia is a graduate of the Vicky Pollard school of deflection and the intention is just to wear people down with "Yeah but no but it wasn't me it was those guys, or maybe them guys, but actually it was me but it was their fault because she said that he said that they said..."
