Dr. Oz Ousts Trump from Campaign Site Amid Big Political Win
Townhall ^ | June 22, 2022 | Sarah Arnold

Posted on 06/23/2022 9:31:18 PM PDT by ConservativeInPA

Dr. Mehmet Oz has quietly ditched his campaign messaging away from President Trump after winning the GOP nomination for the U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania.

Prior to Oz’s win, Trump was proudly featured on his campaign site and popped up on the doctor’s Twitter. However, after winning the Republican nomination, Oz hasn’t included or mentioned Trump since.

Oz’s Twitter banner used to say “endorsed by Trump,” featuring a photo of the pair, now there is only a solo photo of Oz that reads “Thank you Pennsylvania.”

I thought Oz was supposed to be way behind and LOSE!

ANOTHER Trump victory!

Maybe a viable campaign strategy, now against DEMOCRATS.

Give the guy a chance. Let him/them run their campaign.

If he wins, then see how he VOTES!

THAT is all that matters.

“Oz’s transition for the general election highlights the tightrope many Trump-endorsed candidates have attempted to walk,” Axios claims, noting that Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R-Va.) similarly did the same thing during his campaign last year.

A Mammoth University survey found that Trump’s endorsement of Oz was a huge factor in the outcome of the race.

Meanwhile, rumor has it Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla,) is also shying away from the former president.

According to four people connected to DeSantis and Trump, Politico reported that DeSantis has yet to ask Trump for a re-election endorsement.

And he isn’t planning on it.

There were no good candidates in the Pa. election. Having said that, it remains to be seen how Oz will go. Changing his website could be mere ramping up to beat the Democrat opponent.

While on Townhall, I couldn’t help but see that it has gone negative. It also has Schlichter’s The Case Against Trump.” It’s so lame, it’s laughable:

“The hard truth is that Trump was the head of the Republican Party and the Republican Party was absolutely and utterly unprepared for the legal fights that preceded and followed the election.”

Yeah Kurt, it’s all Trump’s fault. Snicker.

He is useful in forcing the GOPe to spend a lot of money. If he acts like a Democrat, get rid of him at the earliest opportunity.

Eventually, we will transform the party if we do not yield.

That’s good. First you have to win, then you can reestablish relationships. To win, he’s going to need a lot more than Trump supporters voting for him.

Oz is loyal and honest except when he isn’t.
Like all politicians.

If Soros, Liz Cheney or Romney slips him more money they will become his closest friends at that point.

Once someone said prostitution was the world’s oldest profession but that he thought politics had made a strong bid to take its place.

How Trump ever trusted Oz, Kemp and the like makes me seriously doubt his judgment.

And Hannity will jump off a building if Trump says to.
