The “red flag” funding isn’t even explicitly tied to “red flag” laws.
You just want to doom and cry, because you can’t handle SCOTUS smacking down gun control today.
Perhaps you should consider that it might pass the Senate, then like other bills like Obamacare, get pithed in reconciliation and stuffed with the House gun control measures. Then rammed through the Senate afterwards.
But it's symbolic fluff. It marks the beginning of the Era of Gun Control.
It also shows the FBI that they can spin up another mass shooter, and get immediate gun control out of it.
