You skipped right over the secession part.
I’m not saying we shouldn’t nominate Trump. I’m saying it brings risk. I’m not even saying we should not embrace that risk. I’m saying that if we do nomanate him and he’s elected, the risk may be realized.
Keep your powder dry.
I think we are in a “cold” civil war, and have been for at least a decade.
I’m really talking more about unorganized sides. Organizing immediately gets you government moles, so that won’t work, unless they WANT the violence.
Lol Fox news… Lol
I’m not saying we shouldn’t still go all in on Trump. Rather, I’m just saying we should prepare for the temper tantrum from hell from the left. And frankly it is probably worth it.
So far so good, nothing civil about a war.
We have the guns and know how to use them, what the hell does the left do, after they burn down the slums that they live in?
F876 the left and the horse they rode in on.
Wishful thinking.
Trump runs, he’s the nominee period.
There is no path or room for anyone else.
DeSantis has already stated if Trump’s running he’s not running, he’s smart abs knows that he wont win head to head.
Any argument to the contrary is self delusion.
Trump got more votes than any sitting President in history and was defrauded of the win.. you think anyone is going to stop those folks who supported him from exercising their just rage not vote for him if he’s on the ballot, you really aren’t living in reality.
Honestly, what's not to like about DeSantis? I can't think of a single issue on which I would prefer Trump's policies to DeSantis'. There's obviously a lot of overlap, but on the topic of Covid, I would take DeSantis 10 times out of 10 over Trump, who unfortunately permitted himself to be led around by Fauci.
Plus, he's younger, and after surviving geriatric Biden, the Dems are likely to go younger. Trump being nearly 80 isn't going to be a positive.
So what do you have against DeSantis? On what issue has he been wrong?
Latest Rassmussen poll has Trump 55% Desantis 11%
He is politically tone deaf. IMO normally that is good thing. This is a case when it is not. '24 election is Trump's. Biden is finished and the Democrat-Fascists have no bench. He (Desantis)needs to step aside now and end all of this weird speculation. Besides his wife and state need him now. If he did that then '28 is all his.
No, he hasn't. People keep repeating that claim on Free Republic, are asked to provide some backup for it, then vanish from the thread. DeSantis has never said that.
“DeSantis has already stated if Trump’s running he’s not running”
Where and when did Desantis say that? Please provide a link. Thank you.
What does that even mean? Has DeAantis taken a position on a particular issue that you believe he shouldn't have taken? If so, what is that issue?
The way I see it, he actually has been remarkably astute politically. He was the first governor to challenge Fauci publicly, and the entire leftist media went after him saying he was wrong. As it turned out, he was right. He challenged Disney when the media claimed it would be political suicide, and the result has been the exact opposite. He has gone after critical race theory, and that too has proven to be much more popular with actual voters than with the elites.
So exactly how has he been "politically tone deaf."
Some fine wisdom there, Prince.
How absurdly obdurate you are. He is politically tone deaf by even considering running in '24. That is the height of political tone deafness.
The Achilles heel of our system is a military that concentrates power in the very small top and asks for blind obedience.
Time to teach 'Nuremberg Trials' reality to OUR troops. And soon.
