Been better if the entire country was erased from the face of the earth.

Were the stone and mud-brick homes up to Afghani building codes?
Probably not. (If they even have any)

My thoughts too. Perhaps Vlad can test his hypersonic nuclear missiles there.

We invaded a Pathan country and stayed for twenty years, what were people expecting? It would become Denmark with goats? The ignorant hubris of our political class knows no bounds.

I’d rather 1000 politicians dig them selves out of DC rubble.

Need more coffee.

“Been better if the entire country was erased from the face of the earth.”

Nuke it from obit to be sure. We could get some brownie points from Vlad since Russia hates Afghanistan too. So this could help us/NATO in Ukraine.

Moral of the story is cannot elevate Muslims above their destructo - sects. We need to let them be, to fight among themselves. And for sure don’t let them immigrate to the West.

How ironic would it be if the taliban were to request financial aid from the US to help out in this situation. I have no doubt the brandon administration would happily oblige.

Since the goat humpers don't have the heavy equipment to perform proper search, rescue and recovery operations, perhaps we can trade them some earth moving equipment for ALL of the weaponry and military assets that were left behind during the bungled exit.

The politicians dug the hole to begin with.

Has the Biden Admin offered a billion dollars worth of Caterpillar and John Deere equipment to help with the damage?

“The ignorant hubris of our political class knows no bounds.”

Well said. The night they launched ‘Desert Shield/Desert Storm’ is one I will never forget. All of us in the room (Army) KNEW this was going to be a cluster for generations to come. And it has been!

Yep. Insert yourself in the middle of the ‘Hatfields and McCoys’ in the Stone Age. Waste untold trillions in American Blood and Treasure.

Then leave, leaving everything behind, decades later, with absolutely NOTHING to show for it. Nothing!

How I loathe them all!

Biden is just trembling in his diapers to initiate his BBB plan and spend 49 billion to implement

Some people have huge bank accounts to show for those wars; when you see all that gear left behind, understand it was all bought and paid for.

‘...bought and paid for’ by, ‘We The People!’

But, luckily we can just continue to print money because that never has an averse effects on anything. ;)

Again, how I loathe them all!

Paid for by “we the people”, and ending up in the paychecks of many of “we the people”...

With the growth “guaranteed income” programs, COVID stimulus freebies, etc., I see why so many people see no point in working. When you see service workers abused by customers, it is incredible that anyone even shows up for those jobs anymore...
