He has better hair than Biden. That’s a key factor.

"Gavin Newsom should be Democrats’ replacement for Biden, top Dem strategist suggests."

And for all of those who would laugh and say, "He has no chance of becoming president of the USA. That man is a frutcake".!

Need I remind you that Joe Biden is now president of this nation..?

"Biden is article 25’d. Headboard harris steps in and appoints newsom as VP (would he be confirmed?). Headboard gets new job as head of UN, Supreme court justice, whatever. Welcome Resident newsom."

I've an alternate version...

With the 2022 election, (R)'s take both sides of Congress by significant enough numbers.

Trump is nominated for Speaker....and accepts (knowing what's being promised in the background while he's speaker)

The clear evidence of 2020 election fraud becomes mainstream, including the "contested" states finally getting their act together and presenting their evidence.

The House holds impeachment hearings, with Trump presiding. They impeach the illegitimate biden and harris.

The Senate, after much handwringing, finally does something bold, notable and admirable. They convict.

biden, just want's to go back to his basement and take a nap. He leaves w/o much fanfair. harris resists and is promptly arrested and removed from office.

Trump is President from sometime mid 2023 until the next election cycle. He chooses DeSantis as his VP, and is confirmed.

He gets much done with the help of the (R) controlled congress...but not enough of the "big stuff."

Trump/DeSantis win again in 2024. The (R)'s pick up a handful more seats in the House, and another Senate seat.

Unconstrained by having to ever run again....

* Trump goes scorched earth on every one of the coup participants and everyone in "leadership" at the various alphabet gov agencies,
* gets to nominate at least one more conservative justice,
* gets the border wall completed,
* gets at least 50+% of the foreign nationals in our country illegally to self deport through various means,
* finally gets the U.S. back to energy independence (after starting the process in mid 2023) and fuel prices fall back to where they were when he was ousted in Jan 2021,
* manages to get Russia to remove it's military from Ukraine (actually leaving Ukraine's fate up to the people of Ukraine),
* manages to prevent (at least while he's in office) China from invading Taiwan. Towards the end of his 2nd full term, Taiwan purchases an unprecedented amount of military hardware from the U.S. As does Japan,
* manages to bring North Korea back to the "let's make a deal table" and quiets down the Korean peninsula, perhaps even getting lil kim to abandon their nukes in exchange for a dozen or more "glorious" and "magnificent" mega resorts built on their coasts,
* backs Israel in its total destruction of Iran's nuclear program and taking out of the mullah leadership (bringing some modicum of peace an prosperity to the Iranian people),
* reforms/modernizes NATO with every state "paying their fair share",
* stops U.S. funding of the U.N and kicks it out of our country, effectively marginalizing them,
* takes the U.S. out of the WHO again and leads the charge to have its "leaders" brought up on charges of crimes against humanity (vis a vie covid)...same with fraudchi,
* and just to go for the grand slam and explode any remaining leftist heads...brings forth incontrovertible evidence that Soebarkah really wasn't a "natural born Citizen" and thus held power illegitimately as a usurper. The healthcare mandate is finally ruled illegal in its entirety, and a number of Barry's other "achievements" are reversed as being illegitimate under an illegal President. Forevermore, there is either an asterisk next to his name as President or his name is simply struck-through.

I know there are so many other things to be mentioned, but this would be a great start. It's been a great week in many regards, might as well keep it going.

Stuiff it. You know that is not what I wrote. In fact I do think they cheat but it’s not even necessary in California.

“How about so-called “swing” states? “

Jimmy Carter in 1976 and Bill Clinton in 1992 were two unknown southern “moderate” governors who came out of nowhere to win the Dem nomination and then the general election.

California will vote for any Democrat nominee so he brings no swing state votes and his nomination will almost ensure the south will vote for a Republican.

Watch out for the dark horse Democrat North Carolina governor Roy Cooper. He is as philosophically liberal as Newsome but has adroitly positioned himself as a moderate mostly because the GOP legislature has kept him in check and because independents give him high marks for managing Covid. In 2020 Cooper won re-election to a second term as governor in a year Trump carried the state and the NC voters elected a very conservative GOP Lt. Governor.

Cooper is ambitious and has been working in the background. NC will have 16 Electoral votes in the 2024 election. Without those votes it is nearly impossible for the GOP candidate to win the presidential election. If Biden exits after the 2022 election, and Kamala moves up to puppet president, the insiders may appoint Cooper as a “moderate” and reasonable VP with a successful track record as governor in a well functioning state. His nomination might even get GOP bipartisan support in Congress where a Newsome, Abrams, or Hillary appointment would rile up the GOP base. In 2024 Kamala steps aside, Cooper steps to the head of the ticket, and Newsome can decide if he wants to take the VP slot. Four years as VP will give Newsome and the press an opportunity to polish his image, give him foreign policy experience, and make him appear more statesmanlike and moderate.

The key swing voters in presidential elections are white women — independents and moderate GOP women. Cooper will seem safe to them in 2024 when Trump, if he runs, will be positioned by the press as anti-women and dangerous. If the Dems can carry NC, and hold Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Arizona like they did in 2020, they can win even without Georgia.

The Dem donors and insiders want to win in 2024 and know they have a weak hand. Newsome doesn’t bring incremental electoral votes. Roy Cooper, a nationally unknown Democrat governor may be able to carry 16 electoral votes that went to Trump in 2020. Watch Cooper.

Interesting — I’ll have to get Cooper on my radar screen. Were the Republicans as ruthless as their Dem pals they would strangle the Dems’ rising candidates in the cradle, straddling them with scandals and hoohah.

“Were the Republicans as ruthless as their Dem pals they would strangle the Dems’ rising candidates in the cradle, straddling them with scandals and hoohah.”

Cooper exists because the Republicans ran pitiful campaigns against him. The RINO Governor Pat McCrory, lost his reelection campaign to Cooper in 2016 because he ran a defensive campaign while Cooper, with his out of state money and support of the major press outlets in the state, ran an extremely aggressive campaign. In 2020, the GOP Lt. Governor was the GOP candidate for governor and never could get himself on the radar screen. Meanwhile, from out of nowhere a black conservative neophyte, Mark Robinson, won the GOP nomination for Lt. Governor in 2020, beating the GOP establishment candidate in the primary, and then surprisingly won in the general election against a black female progressive Democrat. Robinson refused to compromise his strong conservative positions during his general election campaign for governor, effectively refuting the RINO accepted belief a Republican must be run to the center in a general election in order to win.

Governor Cooper hates Mark Robinson and will not engage with him. He closes Robinson out of any state functions or activities not required of the Lt. governor by state law. The press would be screaming racism if it was a white Republican governor dissing a black Democrat lieutenant governor. However, in this situation the press is silent.

Keep your eye on Mark Robinson too. Will the GOP establishment allow the unashamed black conservative Robinson to be the party’s nominee for governor in 2022 or push him aside for a more “moderate” candidate in hopes of appealing to moderates in the liberal cities? If Robinson gets the nomination, the national Democrat party will do everything it can to prevent a black conservative Republican from becoming governor of any state. The GOP should be anticipating this campaign and already building up Robinson in the same way the Democrats promote Stacy Abrams and AOC as rising stars. Having Robinson become governor would be a huge positive message to black Americans. Yet Robinson is ignored by the RNC, likely because he is too conservative for Karl Rove and other leaders.

We live in interesting times.

State Department of Public Health issues new guidance ahead of upcoming school year.

State health officials on Thursday released new guidance to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 on K-12 campuses in the 2022-23 school year.

The latest guidelines from the California Department of Public Health, which are set to take effect on Friday, July 1, include updated considerations and mitigation strategies that are further broken down into required actions and recommended actions.

Here are a few key takeaways:

Unless otherwise directed by local health departments or educational agencies, students and staff should follow the same masking guidance that the CDPH has issued for the general public. No individual can be prevented from wearing a mask as a condition of participation in an activity or entry into a school — unless wearing a mask would pose a safety hazard, like during water sports. Schools are required to provide face coverings to students who inadvertently fail to bring them but want to use one.

Families should notify schools if their child has COVID-19 and was on school grounds during their infectious period. Schools should, in turn, notify the families of students who spent more than 15 cumulative minutes within a 24-hour time period in a shared indoor airspace. These steps fall under “recommended actions.”

Effective ventilation and filtration systems can curb the spread of COVID-19 and other infectious diseases, according to the CDPH, which has issued specific recommendations for improving air quality in schools. “It may also protect students and staff from exposure to wildfire smoke and other airborne allergens and pollutants,” the document says.

Schools are encouraged to ensure access to COVID-19 testing for students and staff, particularly for vulnerable communities. The CDPH recommends that antigen tests be considered the primary option for detecting COVID-19 in schools, as opposed to PCR tests.

Vaccinations remain an important tool in preventing serious illnesses. The state strongly recommends that all eligible individuals get vaccinated against COVID-19 and remain up to date.

All employees in K-12 school settings will still have to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or get tested at least once weekly with either PCR or antigen tests based on a previous health order that was issued last August by State Public Health Officer and CDPH Director Dr. Tomás J. Aragón.

Since the summer of 2020, the state’s Department of Public Health has regularly updated its guidance for TK-12 schools based on statewide trends and the latest recommendations from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The latest COVID-19 Public Health Guidance for K-12 Schools can be found on the CDPH website.

Most schools no longer require masks. They’ve also moved away from requiring their employees to participate in contact tracing. Now they send general notices to families about possible exposures instead of identifying students and compelling them to quarantine.
