I am coming around to a similar conclusion. I see no way Ukraine will benefit from a prolonged war of attrition, which will inevitably end in some negotiated settlement anyway. We send ‘Heavy weapons” in dribs and drabs, like three or four howitzers at a time, which are not enough to make a difference, but serve to prolong the agony.

It is time to ask “cui bono?” To whose benefit is this war being drawn out.

That's easy, arms dealers are making big bucks off this war. All the stuff going to the Ukraine from the West has to be replaced.
