Here we have a cop willing to risk his life to save his dying wife and his fellow cops subdue him.

I watched a lot of yesterday's TX Senate hearing and I heard no questions as to where Salvador Ramos got the money to buy his arsenal.

There has to be a reason why no one wants to know the details of where the money came from.

Steve Bannon this morning was asking again---where did he get the money.

It sounds an awful lot like this was a set-up.

The cops will do everything they can to ruin you. If you dare try to defend yourself, you are done. If you try to defend someone else, you’re even more screwed.

Ruiz knows who detained him. I bet he is considering his options.

Don’t just ask questions. Put yourself in his shoes. How would you get access to these things? Be creative. You’re looking to kill a bunch of random kids, and prepared to go out guns blazing.
A guy like that would be too ethical to carjack someone, put one in his head, and dump his carcass somewhere remote. Heck, Eagle Scout that he is, he’d never stoop to taking grandma’s truck without her permission. In fact, this kid is such a gem, he wouldn’t drive grandma’s truck even if she handed him the keys, for fear of scratching it up. Nope - he’d rather walk or take the bus.

Given the way stone killers have a rigid code of ethics, he couldn’t possibly have robbed anyone, sold drugs or pawned grandma’s valuables. And even if he were so inclined, police departments have a 100% clearance rate for these crimes, so he’d be in prison instead of in the morgue.

Being the sweet kid he was, he not only paid grandma for room and board - he gave her his entire paycheck. No way Jose did he have a penny to spend on weaponry.

Some people are casual about taking on debt. Not this kid. Neither a borrower nor a lender be was his motto. It’s one thing to shoot up a school, and quite another to leave a credit card balance unpaid, since he’d either be on Death Row or in the morgue.

The real bottom line? Someone put him up to it and paid for everything. I blame Charles Schwab.

From his job. This has been answered over and over again. He quit school to work full time for nearly a year to buy his guns. It’s entirely doable and not a mystery.

That and other questions go un-asked because they are *POLITICIANS!!* and the answers might embarrass them or cause them to be backed into a corner created by their own ignorance or hypocrisy.
These televised "investigations" are held ONLY for face time, bloviating and self aggrandizement on the part of POLITICIANS!!!

There is one very specific detail I’ve wanted to know, but haven’t seen it addressed yet.

And that is, were all these policemen standing around outside the classrooms where the shooter was while he was firing his guns and killing kids?

I’ve seen many references to so many minutes passing, but have not seen in what span of minutes the shooting took place, and where the policemen were during that time.

I can certainly understand how police officers want to be safe in a job that can be hazardous in many ways, and have procedures to help them maintain that safety. OTOH, there’s a time to take risks, even big ones, when the situation warrants it. And I would like to think most officers and their spouses and families can understand that.

In this situation they shouldn’t have tackled their fellow officer. They should have recognized the value of the adrenaline and motivation in him, told him they’d have his back, and let him lead the charge. Worry about proper process and procedures later. Because playing it safe was anything but safe for those who bled out.

He should be delighted that his wife and her students were deliberately sacrificed as the means to achieve the greater good, the end of private gun ownership.

What an ingrate! </sarchasm>

The chief of police - the creep who stopped his men - and the parents from going in - is a Beto supporter.

A democrat ...

That’s why so many people died. The democrat chief is a coward... and self seriving and a liar. He would not have been hired if he had said he’d let children die before risking his own life.
