Shocking testimony from the Texas DPS director on Tuesday has revealed even more insight into the “abject failure” of response to the Uvalde shooting that occurred on May 24.
Texas Department of Public Safety Director Col. Steven McCraw revealed that the husband of slain elementary teacher Eva Mireles tried to save her but was barred from doing so.
Ruben Ruiz is a police officer for the school district and was on the scene after the gunman entered the school and opened fire.
McCraw said Mireles called Ruiz and told him that “she had been shot and was dying.”
“And what happened to him, is he tried to move forward into the hallway,” McCraw said. “He was detained and they took his gun away from him and escorted him off the scene.”
McCraw didn’t say who specifically detained Ruiz.
There is one very specific detail I’ve wanted to know, but haven’t seen it addressed yet.
And that is, were all these policemen standing around outside the classrooms where the shooter was while he was firing his guns and killing kids?
I’ve seen many references to so many minutes passing, but have not seen in what span of minutes the shooting took place, and where the policemen were during that time.
“””From his job. This has been answered over and over again. He quit school to work full time for nearly a year to buy his guns. It’s entirely doable and not a mystery.”””
And you have seen the deposit and withdrawal details of his debit card account for the past year? TX DPS initially stated Ramos bought the arsenal with a debit card.
“””I’ve seen many references to so many minutes passing, but have not seen in what span of minutes the shooting took place, and where the policemen were during that time.”””
We know from yesterday’s hearing that the police had an opportunity to take out Ramos in the first three minutes before he was able to enter the classroom.
We also know there may have been up to 100 rounds fired soon after Ramos entered the classroom.
So likely most of the kids and teachers were killed in that initial barrage.
Ummm, or a set up. All of what you listed is classic setup and distraction. They get you thinking “it’s so messed up, it had to be incompetence”...
Ask yourself why this cop didn’t fight to get to his wife to save her? I’m not saying he’s part of it, but how did they detain him?

You probably mean Klaus Schwab]
“So likely most of the kids and teachers were killed in that initial barrage.”
And it’s likely that a large number of them bled out and died during that hour and 10 minutes when even simple tourniquets, much less the EMS crews, could have saved several.
The way I read that particular post the shooter was at best a transvestite who undoubtedly had a rich homo sugar daddy to got him all the stuff he had. Either that or he was dealing drugs - big time.
“That post has false info in it”
Yes. And the same dude was posting it on at least four threads yesterday.
“””“So likely most of the kids and teachers were killed in that initial barrage.”
And it’s likely that a large number of them bled out and died during that hour and 10 minutes when even simple tourniquets, much less the EMS crews, could have saved several.”””
You are correct. I should have written that ‘most were SHOT in the initial barrage’
“Rifles $6000.00/$8,000.00”
More like $3500-$4000
“Ask yourself why this cop didn’t fight to get to his wife to save her? I’m not saying he’s part of it, but how did they detain him?”
Because despite all those talking about what they woulda done, he was probably highly emotional, and the people detaining him were coworkers. They were swarming around him and physically holding him back, telling him he was going to get her and him both killed, etc etc. They were doing it with sincere concern, not reading him his rights etc. It’s a powerful dynamic.
It happens everyday at house fires, car wrecks, ER waiting rooms, etc.
The bottom line is that a small town police department, eyeballs deep in political patronage leadership and Nueces Strip mentality was a failure. They didn’t measure up. That’s the whole story.
Agree...
No, I have not personally seen his banking records.

Cruz exclusively told The US Sun that Ramos openly talked about how he was using the money from the job to buy guns and ammo and suddenly quit weeks before the school shooting after making enough.
It has been estimated that the teen would have spent around $4,000 on his weapons, ammunition and tactical-style vest.
One of the weapons the gunman bought was an $1,870 Daniel Defense weapon which he reportedly posted a receipt for on Yubo.
The conspiracy theorists typically overestimate the cost of the guns while also underestimating his job earnings.
At 11:33 a.m. on May 24, he walked into Robb Elementary’s northwest entrance and headed south toward the two classrooms on the left side, randomly firing shots from his rifle in the hallway.
The gunman fired shots at least three more times — at 11:40 a.m., 11:44 a.m., and 12:21 p.m. — but officers held their positions.
I believe police were waiting at both ends of the hallway.
Of course it was. And the police chief was in on it.
Also you would not believe the number of credit card applications kids get the minute they turn 18. (Even before 18!) Also it increases again when they get a full-time job, even a minimum wage job. Like you said all very doable!

Talk is cheap. When the TX DPS investigation publicly details the purchases and deposits in Ramos debit card account, then we will know.
And given the number of times the TX DPS has had to backtrack their initial statements, I would not be surprised to hear the DPS backtrack on their initial comment that Ramos bought the arsenal with his debit card.
Who is Armand?
Well, the Daniel Defense gun was bought online, so a card was obviously used. Then it was shipped to his local FFL for pick up.
Gun sales are the most highly regulated, 2nd only to prescription drugs. This makes the provenance and method of payment the easiest part of the investigation. Which is probably why, a month later, it’s the only “fact” that hasn’t been walked back.
