Some tattoos and even a piercing would have been effective forms of rebellion against parental units, or even green hair. Surgery and therapy to remove stuff should be considered extreme. But at a certain level of wealth, it’s just eccentric.

Being rich is not the end all the happiness, in most cases if you were not the one that earned it, it seems to make many very unhappy. I mean we probably see only the weird in the media, but it seems that is common result from those coming from rich families they never appear happy, always searching for something to bring fulfillment into their lives. That fulfillment normally involves some struggle and many of these children have never had a want that wasn’t immediately provided. Also some people are toxic, look at some of the Biden kids, might have been the best thing in the world had they separated themselves from their father and made their own path.
I really wanna see him make it. Sooner rather than later. There is more than enough idiots here now. We need to start spreading them around a bit.
Yeah, probably. The “ungrateful child” is a constant theme in all world literature, and he’s just giving us a modern restatement.
Once upon a time he would have been brave enough to go off and ally himself with his father’s enemies and fight against his father, but now the ungrateful child has realized that all he has to do is sic his father’s enemies onto Dad by making PC statements to the press.
If one is mentally sound and given a ton of money they can do things with that money that can help others, they can make more money with that money. So I guess it all boils down to mental illness.

Father son relationships can go sour even in the best of relationships....telling your dad you want to be a woman could do it.
I know an Attorney who’s son pulled this. So the parents layed down conditions for visiting. Dress like the man you are - no makeup - no female accesorries. His friends are not welcomed. Works for them as he complied.
