My wife made a good point about Juneteenth. She asked why does this day get a Federal Holiday, when Veterans Day doesn't? After thinking about it, I concluded unfair. A lot of people recognize Veterans Day as a tribute to those who didn't die (Memorial Day) in service to our country. Okay, thanks.

What many many people forget is all the alive wounded Veterans with missing limbs, horrific facial injuries, loss of cognitive ability from brain injury, impact on family, financial loss, and PTSD. Maybe Veterans Day should be renamed and be a National Holiday? Got suggestions?
