Colombia is a good country with good people. I spent a couple of months there years ago, and it really is a wonderful place.
But “America’s strongest ally”? Yeah, that’s a bit of an exaggeration.

Yes, I agree with you. She had to have meant strongest Latin American ally, which is a reasonable claim.
