DeSantis pulls in millions from former Trump donors ahead of November election

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has pulled in millions of dollars for his re-election bid from former donors of President Donald Trump — a possible sign that some Trump supporters are looking for other candidates in the 2024 presidential race, according to a report.

A weekend Politico analysis of campaign finance data found that at least 10 donors who spent $24 million on Trump’s reelection bid in 2020 have since donated approximately $3.4 million to the Republican governor’s political committee, Friends of Ron Desantis.

The analysis found that many of the high-profile donors had never contributed in state-level Florida elections. Those who had provided funds to the sunshine state massively increased their dollar donations.

Money won't be a problem for Trump or DeSantis if they run in 2024.

How do contributions to DeSantis’ 2022 re-election campaign signal a loss of support for Trump’s (possible) 2024 bid for the WH?

Let’s see now, 3.4 million for Trump each as opposed to 340,000 each for DeSantis. Maybe they just want DeSantis to be governor again.

“Trump for speaker...”

That goes to show why the Left is winning—they are smarter. Conservatives at the slightest hitch readily abandon their heaviest gun.

Trump supporters contributing to DeSantis’ re-election campaign is a sign that they want DeSantis to be re-elected as governor of Florida. It does not mean that they would support DeSantis over Trump, no matter how much the media want it to be so.

Trump for speaker, winsome sears for veal, DeSantis for potus and a host of MAGA house and Senate winners might be able to Ave us from ruin. If we can survive that long.

Much as I'd love to seen Winsome Sears as VEEP, she's DQ'd because she was born in Jamaica.

If Trump isn’t running for Governor of Florida, why is the writer concerned about crossover support? Today’s main topic is Biden vs. America, not DeSantis vs. Trump

As much as the press wants to create controversy, the people of Florida are happy with DeSantis as governor and do not wish him to move out as President of the USA. If need be, I am sure he would and he would do well, but we have no desire to see him go yet.

You people need to stop falling for this crap.

They are pushing a phony Trump-DeSantis race to distract from the upcoming ass-kicking they're about to get in the mid-terms and to split the conservative vote once again.

DeSantis has already said he's not going to run if Trump runs, Trump is going to run, he's owed another term (Hell 2 terms since his first term was tied up) and no RINO or liberal media hit piece is going to change that fact.

The liberals are desperate to take out Trump by any means possible and they see DeSantis as disruptor to Trump. He’s isn’t as he is not trying to be.
