I have been rather saddened by the vitriol aimed at people who took shots. Talk about mass psychosis formation....usually God-fearing people who didn't take shots became prideful assez and called "sheeple" anyone who isn't a "pure blood". Pot and kettle type of behavior.
Jim Robinson took the shot. Ya know, the guy who founded FR. Sheeple, he ain't.
Now I totally get the need to defend ones self, and the vitriol aimed at "anti-Vaxxed" was shameful. You'd think the folks not taking shots were spreading Ebola based on the articles and activities.
Optimizing one's own utility curve isn't my job or the government's job...it is up to the individual. I have no anger or hostility for people who took the shot on a fully informed basis, knew the risks, and were likely in that higher risk strike zone.
And as we move into a "post-covid" world where (I fear, too) we WILL see some side effects, I pray that Deplorables lead the way to a charitable embrace of these souls. Because as bad as the hate was for the "unvaxxed" in 2021, these fellow citizens will get ZERO attention from the MSM AND will likely get curb-stomped by the Vax zealots. Jesus calls me to charity, and Deplorable charity will likely draw harmed/vaxxed people into the fold of liberty and freedom.
Agreed. Covid is serious for certain folks. I knew of several elderly who died from it- horrible deaths where they couldn’t even see their loved ones while they were dying from it. I don’t begrudge anyone having taken the vaccines, especial,y if they were sick to begin with. I would,suggest though that they at least,do research first before making a decision as covid was extremely survivable for the healthy, and make a decision based on that and other circumstances (like living with sick elderly, or working with them or whatever, but even then the vaccinated still carry and pass along covid, so not sure what good it woild do for the younger healthier folks to,be vaccinated u less it truly did cut down on the number of cases, but I doubt they was the case) too many healthy folks got scared into taking the vaccines. Especially when their jobs were on the line.
