When Cris Rock started out doing standup he said that if you find yourself at the corner of Malcolm X and MLK Blvd at night RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!. And he was just joking. Near my old stomping grounds in the infamous Hill section of Spring Valley, NY which is like Compton without the palm trees, the corner of MLK and Harriet Tubman Blvd is one of the most dangerous 'hoods in the Hudson Valley.
