BTW- when Vettel travels the world for F1 races, he doesn’t fly commercial. This is the same guy who had a temper tantrum in the middle of the Baku race a few years ago and tried to bang another driver (Hamilton) off the course.

Wow. I read that. So much to unpack, but...in summary:

1. Yes, I am a hypocrite doing what I do for a living or doing what I love. We all have different passions, this is the way I sort of paint my canvas.
   Gee. So that means "I will do what I want, but all the rest of you have to buckle under and toe the Climate Change Lie Line."

2. I think it’s disappointing that we break it down to a personal level and miss to look at the bigger picture.
   You mean everyone, EVERYONE has to look at the "bigger picture" and sacrifice except for you?

3. What’s really important is the message that we need to make the switch and get out of fossil (fuels) and start to base our whole lifestyle on renewables. So I think that’s the bigger picture stuff that I’m trying to address.
   I think what is REALLY important is that you shut your festering gob and shove a burnt piston up your nether regions. And do it while it is still smoking hot.

They all think that when everyone follows their "advice", the world economy collapses, and we run out of both food and fuel, that THEY will be the ones who will go on pursuing their loves and passions, that the money and fame will keep rolling in, that they will be part of the privileged classes.

IIRC, a few years back when Ricciardo and Vettel were on the same Formula 1 team, they were both cruising to a victorious 1,2 finish when the team asked them both to ease up a little to save the engines for the next race. Ricciardo, in the lead, eased back and Vettel saw his chance to easily pass his teammate for an unearned first place.

Vettel has no character and no self respect.
