I’ll take Donald J. Trump any day over some gun grabbing limey.
I realize that’s a rather common take on things. To an
extent I agree, but let’s be honest. If he had simply
said I’m going to put up a border wall, tangle with the
idea of DACA, or a host of other things, they would have
piled on too.
His tweets didn’t bother me at all, because he tweeted
for effect in many instances.
Where a Bush would have remained silent on people or
issues, Trump toss in an M-80, causing the most
attention to a person or issue. Things the media
wouldn’t even talk about, they talked about.
From the headline, I thought he was going to invoke Reagan. It took a moment.
Drawing flies? Well, he’s drawing crowds, and he’s still resonating with large swaths of Americans out there.
DeSantis is young. He can sit this one out without ticking out Trump supporters whose support he needs to win.
Memo to Morgan: GTFO of this country!
Thanks so much for sharing that. Both my parents were foreigners. My Dad was born in Holland...my mother in Canada. I believe the interpretation of Paine's words is accurate.
I read a lot about British history, and at present, am reading a book about Eleanor of Aquitaine, who was first married to King Louis VII of France. That marriage was ended based on consanguinity (being too closely related), yet the marriage had originally been approved despite of that known fact. She had two daughters with Louis. Eleanor next married Henry II of England, and mothered 8 children with him, most notably, Henry the Young King, who never lived to take over the thrown, Richard I, and John, both who sat on the English throne. The exchange of foreign lands and foreign marriage contracts for all of their children was extensive to say the least. And as Paine points out, that has been the basis of all monarchies through the ages.
Thanks, I stand corrected. I hesitated when I wrote my comment, but offered it anyway, as I figured he must have butted heads with various morons during that time, who could have easily been as bad as today’s Democrats. They just didn’t carry the political party affiliation.
His book The Age of Reason attacked Christianity (and institutionalized religion in general), and that began his ostracization from society.

I didn’t get the memo.
I still find it so interesting that folks talk about Pres Trump’s “picks”.
He could have nominated people for the different agencies that could have solved the energy crisis, housed the homeless, eliminated the budget deficit in a year, ended all wars and conflict, sealed the border completely, and whatever else you can think of. And NOT one of those people would have made it past McConnell and Schumer if they didn’t allow it.
Pres Trump was given a roster to pick from.
Mattis is a perfect example. Barrel chested Marine Freedom Fighter. Memes for days about all the things he said. Nothing but a Globalist UNIPARTY CFR POS, that did nothing but undermine the President every chance he got.
One thing Pres Trump did do wrong was assume that Republicans in Congress actually cared about the country and the people as much as they said during their speeches and campaigns.
That being said…..There are a few things, if not more that separate Pres Trump from DeSantis. As one comment stated…it was Pres Trump against everyone. DeSantis has a very friendly legislature and support of the people. So media be damned for him.
But….Pres Trump has the luxury, in his second term, of not being worried about re-election. He knows what’s up now. He can go in there and absolutely scorch the earth. He can expose everything.
If DeSantis is elected…first 6 months to a year getting his cabinet. Next 2 years or so implementing or trying to implement policies. Last year campaigning for his second term.
Pres Trump wouldn’t have that concern. He gets everything right and hands the baton to DeSantis.
Just imagine what would happen in DC if the list of Congressmen/women, that used taxpayer money to pay off their harassment and assault “victims”, were ever made public.
I am not leaving TRUMP-—NEVER.
DeSantis is great but I wouldn’t take advice on anything from a gormless knob like Piers.
Go piss up a flag pole, boomer!
Barrett being the worst.
Interesting….
The Right can survive without the Left
The Left cannot survive without the Right
What a wonderful world it would be f a split happened.
There's a difference between a guy who stands for what's right and doesn't back down from a fight, and a guy who just walks into a bar and starts throwing punches at everyone.
Yeah...for Governor, he beat a bisexual crack user by 0.4%...!

that makes two tommies revolting...
Are you Never Trumpers so desperate that you would think Piers Morgan Bashing Trump relevant? Newsworthy? This stuff doesn’t even rise to the level of bird cage liner. Desperation stinks.
Amen. Stated execellently!
You just made a lot of Never Trumpers cry. And you wasted the time of perfectly good bots. Darn you for thinking for yourself and not listening to them!
