Not so sure about that. The ruble has never been stronger against the USD, Russia is naming it's own oil price & getting paid in rubles from NATO countries, the BRIC nations have a new prominence, the US economy is in shambles with a Demented fool as president, a man Republicans refuse to question while making powerful. I've never seen anything like what's happening domestically, yet many conservatives sport Ukrainian flags and divert their gaze at pending food shortages and power outages. If only we we could unify and concentrate, but I've lost hope.

Yes we should throw 10 billion of military equipment to Ukraine. It is not over till it is over and even if they lose(the Ukrainians) the bigger the cost is to the Russians the less they will be inclined to repeat. Some people think this is just a warm up to take on Nato. There is no point in buying all of this military equipment if we don’t use when it is needed and right now it is needed in the Ukraine more than any place else. Russia under Putin is still a dangerous predatory nation that needs to be stopped. Its our biggest concern. In short it is better to see our equipment go to fight the Russians in the Ukraine then for ourselves to use it to fight Russia in the future.

I really have no dog in this hunt, and could give a rats a** who is winning or not. To me it’s a stalemate. I see how little the Russians have advanced in an “operation” that was supposed to take all of Ukraine within weeks. I like seeing the Russians get demoralized at the front and weakened every day. All I know is I hate Russians more than the Ukrainians.
