A 15-year-old boy was killed after shots rang out at a social justice-inspired musical festival in Washington DC.
A total of four people, including two adults and a cop, were shot Sunday evening near the intersection of 14th and U Street NW, where the Moechella music festival, a Juneteenth celebration, was underway.
The officer was taken to an area hospital and is in stable condition, police confirmed. The other two victims are also recovering.
Video shared on Twitter showed revelers twerking on top of cars as shots rang out, forcing people to flee for cover.
Other footage shows first responders rendering aid at the scene while a large crowd disperses from the area.
Police are still looking for the gunman, WTOP reported. This is a developing story; please check back for more updates.

I almost got attacked at 14th and U St. NW on the evening of April 4, 1968 shortly after Dr. King was killed.
Had been attending a speech by my mentor FBI undercover agent Herb “I Led Three Lives” Philbrick at a black Southern Baptist church at 16th and U. Warned him about it and got him to leave right after finishing his presentation.
I turned right on U to get to 14th St to head south and home, right into a growing, angry mob with burning newspapers. I got behind a bus and let it do the plowing thru.
NO cops in sight so I went to the guard station at the White House and told them what I has seen. They dispatched a car to check it out. The next day communist Stokely
Carmichael made his infamous “burn it down” type speech a d the riots, looting, arson and killings began, including a white truck driver stopped at 14th & U who was pulled out of it and stabbed to death.
Another reason for a concealed carry permit and if possible, to stay out of the jungle that is DemocratBLM and far-left run and ruined D.C.
MLK Jr Day, Black History Month, Juneteenth, and Kwanzaa. How have all these holidays/celebrations made things better?
