Ukraine is not a western puppet state. The people there see themselves as distinct from Muscowy.
The majority of people, actually super majority now that Crimea is gone, do not want to be part of Muscowy.
The best choice for Ukraine is yo move away from the corruption of the Muscowy Khanate.
