In its latest Values and Beliefs survey, Gallup found that belief in God in the U.S. has fallen to 81%, a new low, and that liberals, young people, and Democrats are the "least likely to believe in God."
According to Gallup, in 2013-17, 87% of American adults said they believed in God. In 2022, however, that percentage had fallen to 81%, a decline of six percentage points.
Among 18-29 year olds, belief in God fell 10 points, from 78% to 68%. For unmarried Americans, belief fell 8 percentage points (85% to 77%). For Democrats, belief in God fell from 84% to 72%, a decline of 12 percentage points. For liberals, there was an 11 point drop (73% to 62%).

In order to have good there must be evil. Why did Good allow this during creation? I just accept but without understanding.

Satan rebelled, likely before the Earth was even formed.
And took IMHO 1/3 of the angels with him.
Man gets a chance to determine his eternal destination.

By breaking God’s simple rules, from Eve to Adam to all of us, we listened to the lies of the Deceiver. We therefore gave Satan his temporary reign as god of this world.
So we need a Messiah.

There can be good without evil! But all evil is a perversion of the good.
God did not create evil. Evil is a result of sin, and sin is a result of the misuse of free will by the archangel Lucifer who became Satan.
Good is always greater. Evil is a parasite.
I’m honestly surprised that that many liberals believe in God at all.
In the Biblical account how does 1/3rd of the angels fall away and follow El Diablo in rebellion to God? Some things boggle the mind here on the topside of the soil. Faith and belief in the Almighty is the foundation not to be ignored.
