What you’ve said is that Burisma is a vehicle to get Biden to come to Ukraine’s defense.

I have literally never argued that. Believe it or not, corrupt people can mutually profit from each other without national defense entering the picture.

That’s not what I said. I said Putin gave Biden a bribe through Burisma back when he was VP. It was a chit, a marker, to be collected on via future favors rendered.

And you've already admitted that this is a claim which you have no evidence for.

During all of the hubbub related to Burisma in the 2020 election, was there ever any evidence on Hunter Biden's laptop that Putin was using Burisma as a proxy to enrich Biden? Or was it all a matter of corrupt Ukrainians and corrupt Americans using each other to profit through illicit means?

You're the one claiming (uniquely, as far as I'm aware) that Putin was the one actually using Burisma to buy influence with Joe Biden. Given that Hunter Biden was working with Burisma from April 2014 through 2019 (i.e. after the pro-Russian administration of Yanukovych had been ousted), this claim seems farfetched and lacking in substantiation compared to what's already known: corrupt Bidens using corrupt Ukrainians to get richer.

Zlochevsky is *still* the owner of Burisma. What’s so far-fetched about Putin continuing to funnel payments to Biden through Burisma? Again, the bread crumbs suggest a link between Putin and Zlochevsky.

What reason did Zlochevsky have to pay Biden on his own initiative? Burisma’s operations don’t involve anything in the US. Whereas Putin had plenty of reasons to bribe Biden. Note that Putin paid Hillary $500K through Russian oligarchs, so it’s not like bribing American bigwigs is a foreign concept to him:

The media hasn’t looked into the possibility of Burisma being a conduit for Putin’s bribes for the same reason it hasn’t looked into Burisma - with a few exceptions, the media is just the propaganda wing of the Democrat party. All the New York Post has done is highlight the Hunter Biden - Burisma connection based on e-mails from the hard drive left at the computer repair store. It has done no further investigation because that takes serious resources. In fact, everything it has done on Biden is related to scouring the hard drive for further salacious materials.

Investigating corruption is hard difficult work that requires significant amounts of resources and perhaps the power to compel corporations to give up information. That’s not within the capabilities of a newspaper. In fact, I can’t think of a single time a newspaper broke a story that required more than interviewing a leaker. No one’s going to leak on Putin without a generous relocation and witness protection package. People who do that get killed - along with their families.

If Trump gets a second term, the DOJ might slip back into his control. And an investigation into why Zlochevsky was really paying Biden off might get off the ground. But if he hires another series of worthless AG’s like the ones he got throughout his first term, we will never get to the bottom of this.

While by far not a stand alone, Burisma is factually derivative of the Kremlin.

The middle man at the top of Burisma is directly and redundantly tied to the Kremlin for decades.
